"Greenpoint Tree" is a first collaborative installation by the CCYD Studio duo. This immersive installation transforms an industrial space into a living network of light and memory. At its center stands a vertical, tree-like structure composed of stacked illuminated modules—an artificial trunk radiating energy through a dense web of cables that stretch across the ceiling. These wires connect to suspended light boxes that hover like luminous fruit, suggesting both technological growth and organic life.

The installation reflects on the interdependence between human systems and natural ones—how energy, communication, and memory circulate through both. The surrounding illuminated windows evoke fragments of cityscapes, situating this electric organism within an urban context.

Here, infrastructure becomes ritual. The wires resemble roots and branches, feeding not sap but electricity/light. The work invites viewers to stand within a man-made ecology, to sense the pulse of an environment where decay, beauty, and connection coexist in quiet tension.
