Sirens of Lethe was presented as a floor-based modular installation as part of the 2024 Texas Biennial. Composed of stacked translucent modules with integrated low-voltage lighting and exposed wiring, the work explored memory, grief, and perceptual drift through repetition, material translucency, and spatial accumulation. Installed at ground level, the piece invited viewers to navigate a field of illuminated and dormant forms, emphasizing forgetting as a lived, spatial condition rather than a symbolic narrative.

Two-person exhibition

Small scale iteration of Sirens of Lethe was exhibited at Canopy Projects, where the installation adapted to the architectural constraints of the gallery space. The modular structure was reconfigured to respond to circulation patterns and sightlines, foregrounding the project’s capacity to shift meaning through scale, density, and spatial arrangement. The presentation emphasized the work’s ongoing nature and its investigation into how emotional residue is embedded within material systems.
