HILMA AF KLINT BOTANICAL SKETCHBOOK, FLOWERS, MOSSES AND LICHENS 1919-1920 PRINTS
I am so excited to introduce my new botanical print collection created for the recently “discovered” (following a blockbuster show at the Guggenheim Museum in NY in 2019!), mystical pioneer abstract artist Hilma af Klint”s show. In late 2019 I was awarded an opportunity from the Lightforms Art Center in Hudson, NY to create a series of reference paintings for their Hilma af Klints botanical notebook exhibition in 2020.
I was one of the 11 artists to accompany Hilma af Klint’s Tree of Knowledge Exhibition. Woohoo! So I created 37, 5 x 7 original watercolor paintings in total for the exhibition. That’s a lot of paintings! Today, I am happy to share with you that I have added 12 new prints from the original 37 collection to my shop.
